Field mapping for fuzzy lookups
The Field Mappings window enables you to map validation form fields to locator alternative subfields or fuzzy database fields.
There are two columns in the Field Mappings window. The first column, Destination Field, provides a list of fields configured to be displayed on the validation form. The second column, Data Source Field, provides a list of locator subfields or database column names. You can choose the field from a locator subfield or database column to populate a field on the validation form.
You can map fields for a fuzzy database lookup by following these steps:
- Open the Project Tree window if it is not already open.
- In the Project Tree, select the class that requires a lookup button on its validation form.
Right-click on the class and select
