Add Document Review methods as scripted rules

Once a Document Review method is added via the Document Review tab on the Project Settings, and its properties are configured, it can be used to create a global script rule. A Document Review method can be either a Document Method or a Batch Method.

As a result, a document method is only available when a document level rule is added and a batch method is only available when a batch level rule is added.

You can create a global Document Review script method on the Document Review tab in Project Settings, or as needed when a new structure rule is added.

When adding a new structure rule, you can add a Document Review script method by following these steps:

  1. Open the Project Tree window if it is not already open.
  2. In the Project Tree, select the desired class.
  3. On the Design tab, in the Create group, click Structure Rule.

A new document structure rule with a default name is automatically added to the Project Tree, and the Details window for this rule is displayed.

  4. Select Document Review Script Method as the Rule type.

The Details window changes to display existing global Document Review script methods in a list, and a button to open the Project Settings - Document Review tab.

  5. Alternatively, select a script method from the list.
  6. Alternatively, click Methods to create a new global Document Review script method.

The Project Settings window is displayed, and you can create the new method on the Document Review tab.
