Trainable Group Locator subfields
The unique set of subfields defines a distinctive trainable group locator. This signature feature of a trainable locator is important to keep the recorded data on documents in the Extraction Set set compatible with the project. Trained fields in the Extraction Set are linked to this specific locator and its subfields.
You can change field names and locator names without losing any trained documents, because field mapping does not rely on field names or locator names. Changing subfield names requires recapturing all trained documents.
Important To change the name of a subfield after training, or to add or delete a subfield, gather the data of the documents once
again or the locator cannot use the training set. Re-training alone is insufficient.
