Configure the layout classifier

Each project has one Layout Classifier. Any class that uses layout classification uses this classifier. Configure the Layout Classifier so that it is suitable for your entire project. You can do this by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Classification tab to view the classification settings.
  3. On the Layout Classification group, click the Layout Classifier Properties button.

    The Layout Classifier Properties window is displayed.

  4. Edit the layout classification properties.
    Note If you are processing both invoices and another type of form within the same project, ensure that you do not optimize classification for invoices. This can hinder the classification results of your other forms. For the best result, process invoices in a separate project so that you can use this option effectively.
  5. Optionally,add training documents for classes that are enabled for layout classification.
  6. Train your project for layout classification.
