Right-click in the Document Viewer next to the validation form tab to display the Document Viewer properties:

Allow user to change the Viewer position

Select TRUE in the list to allow the user to change the position of the viewer in the Validation module, select FALSE to deny the action.

Caption

Edit the text to specify the desired caption at the top of the Document Viewer. This caption is displayed, when the viewer is in floating mode.

When you click the button to the right, the Translations window is displayed, where you can define different translations for the caption.

Docking

Select None, Left, Right, Top or Bottom in the list to specify the docking mode of the viewer in the validation form. By default this option is set to None, and the viewer is initially docked at the right side of the Validation user interface.

None of these document settings allow the user to change the docking mode of the viewer in the Validation module. This is only possible if the "Allow user to change the Viewer position" option is set to TRUE. After changing the docking mode, the viewer keeps the docking position unless the user changes it again. When selecting Left, Right, Top or Bottom, the user can only change the docking mode of the viewer temporarily. This means that the next time the user selects the same document, the docking mode switches back to the predefined setting.

Note If you specify different docking modes for each document class in a mixed batch, the viewer position switches dynamically, according to each predefined position, when stepping through the documents. This can be useful if you want to distinguish between different document types. You can take advantage of the viewer position to better display the document format in either the portrait or landscape view.

Show ToolTip

Select TRUE in the list to show the recognition results as tool tips when you hover the mouse over the document, select FALSE if you do not want tool tips.

Visible

Select TRUE in the list to display the Document Viewer for the validation form layout, to hide the viewer select FALSE. Select this option to hide or show the Document Viewer when designing the validation form. During runtime the Document Viewer is always displayed on the validation form.
