Remove a document subset

If the document subset you are working with is no longer required, removing it ensures that the documents in your document set are all useful and required.

Note Removing a document subset does not remove the associated documents or images from the file system.
  1. Open the Documents window if it is not already open.
  2. Click in the document set that contains the document subset you are removing.

    The document set expands and the list of its document subsets is displayed.

  3. On the list of document subsets, right-click the document subset and select Remove.
  4. When prompted, confirm the deletion by clicking Yes.

    The document subset is removed from the list.
