Move a folder

  1. Select the folder you want to move.
  2. On the Edit menu, or the shortcut menu, select Cut to copy the folder and its documents to the clipboard, or use Shift + drag-and-drop functionality. Alternatively you can select Ctrl + X on the keyboard.
  3. Select the folder where you want to paste the selected item.
  4. On the Edit menu, select Paste or release the mouse for the dragged batch root folder to move it at the desired position. Alternatively you can select Ctrl + V on the keyboard.

    You can move folders only within the same folder structure. For example, you cannot move a subfolder to the root folder level.
