Delete a locator

If a locator is no longer needed in the project, it is best practice to remove it rather than let it clutter up your project. You can remove a locator by following these steps:

  1. Expand the Project Tree and select the class that contains the desired locator.
  2. Optionally, view the class contents if they are not already displayed.

    The hidden class contents are displayed.

  3. Select the locator you are deleting.
  4. On the Design tab, in the Edit group, click Delete.
  5. When prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.

    The locator is removed from the Project Tree.
