Set a default recognition profile

Each of the three recognition profile types can have a default recognition profile. For example, each new zone created when working with the Advanced Zone Locator always uses the default zone recognition profile. Similarly, when manual recognition is preformed against a document set, the default page recognition profile is used.

If you create a recognition profile that you would prefer to be the default profile for one of the profile types, it can be set as the default profile. A default profile is marked with the Default Default Recognition Profile icon icon.

You can set a profile to be the default recognition profile by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Select the Recognition tab to view the recognition settings.
  3. Select the recognition profile to be the default profile.
  4. Click As Default.

    The selected profile is marked as the default profile for the relevant type.

  5. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
  6. Save the changes to your project.
