How Kofax ReadSoft Invoices names image files

By default, image files created by Kofax ReadSoft Invoices are named according to the format MDHmmnnn.ttt, where M = month (1-9, then A, B, C), D = day (1-9, then A-V), H = hour (1-9, then A-N where, for example, F stands for 15:00 or 3 PM), mm = minute and nnn is a sequential number during any minute. An even sequence number indicates the front page of an invoice; an odd one indicates the back of an invoice.

The extension, ttt, depends upon which file type is being saved.

Image files are saved to INVOICES\Images if you accept Kofax ReadSoft Invoices' default installation directories and do not specify a different directory in Eilocal.ini.

If more than one Scan module is used in a network with a shared database, file names can conflict unless you take steps to prevent this. Duplicate image file names can also occur if you save files from several years in the same folder.
