Choose the field format type: Regular, date, or amount
There are three types of single item fields and line item fields. The field format type describes the contents of the field.
You must select a field format type for every field.
Regular | Regular fields can contain any allowed characters. You specify information about the contents of the field in the field format. |
Date | Date fields are fields that contain a day, a
month, and a year. You do not have to specify the
format of a
date field unless you want to.
All date fields, except for
invoice date and due date, require titles.

Amount | Amount fields are fields that contain a monetary amount. You cannot specify the format of an amount field. A default format is used. |
How to adjust the field format type
- Using Manager, open the invoice profile, make sure it is inactive, and then open the field profile.
- Select the General settings of the Field profile dialog.
- Use the Format box to select the field format type.
