The Field rule dialog

To access this dialog:

  1. Using Manager, select Administration > Field exceptions > Field rules.
  2. Right-click and select New or Open.

This dialog displays the settings for an existing field rule. (Field rules are part of field exceptions.) You can also create a new field rule.

Name
The name for the field rule.
Corporate group ID
Available Lists all corporate groups currently in the system.
Selected The corporate group(s) that are used for the field rule.
Buyer
Available Lists all buyers currently in the system.
Selected The buyer (s) that are used for the field rule.
Invoice type
The invoice profile types that are used for the field rule: Either GE (general expense), PO (purchase order), or All (both GE and PO).
Field specifications
Lists all field specifications currently in the system. Those with a check mark in the ID column are applied by the field rule.
