How to configure and deploy the Kofax Unified Client for Samsung in DRS

This topic describes steps required to configure and deploy the Kofax Unified Client for Samsung MFP client software in the Device Registration Service.

For details about configuring the Kofax Unified Client for Samsung, refer to the Kofax Unified Client for Samsung section of the DRS help.
  1. Open DRS in a web browser.

    To do this, enter the IP address and port for the DRS server in the format:

    http://drs-server-ip-address:9000
  2. Create a DRS application to point to the AutoStore server.
    Use Samsung XOA for the application type.
  3. Create a device to point to the IP address for the Samsung XOA MFP.
  4. Run the Install Application task on the Device tab to install the Kofax Unified Client for Samsung on a selected device.
  5. Run the Create Configuration task on the Device tab to set the panel client URL for the Samsung Component on the MFP.
