Field tab

Use this tab to specify the type of the stamp and other field properties.

Option Description
Text Select this radio button and enter the text that will be stamped. You can use RRTs in this field to achieve more flexibility.

When you select this option, all the settings on the Font tab are enabled.

Image file Select this radio button and enter the path to the image file that will be used as a stamp. You can do it manually, or click the browse button and browse for the file. You can use RRTs in this field.

When you select this option, all the settings on the Font tab are disabled.

The image file specified in this field will be loaded in the same image format as the template image, specified in the main configuration window.

The image should be one of the following formats:

  • JPEG
  • BMP
  • PNG

Pages Enter the number of the pages on which the text will be placed. The page numbers are separated by comma; for example, 1,3,5.
Stamping mode Select one of the following modes:
  • Overlay: this mode means that stamps will be simply placed over the original images with transparent or opaque background.
  • Shrink and apply (for predefined position only): this mode means that the image will be resized so that the page of original size can contain the resized image and the stamp. The resized image will be horizontally centered within the page and vertically aligned to top or bottom depending on the stamp alignments. This option is enabled only for Predefined position on the Position tab. If margin values require resizing the image to less than 25% of the original size, this causes the Invalid stamping area error.
The background settings can be configured on the Font tab if the Text option is selected.
Transparent background

Select this option to display the stamp with transparent background on the output document. It works only if the stamp file has transparent background, for example a PNG file.

This checkbox is active only if the Image File option is selected.
