Unified Client for Konica Minolta application properties

A Device Registration Service application profile for the Unified Client for Konica Minolta specifies connection information for an AutoStore server and a Print Manager server. This information allows an MFP or MFD to use capture and print management services on these servers.

These properties appear in the Device Registration Service Details pane when you add or edit a Unified Client for Konica Minolta application. You cannot change the application type for an existing application.

Click the edit Edit button button to edit the parameters for a device. Click the save Save button button to save changes to the parameters or click the cancel button to discard changes.

Property Description
Name

A name that uniquely identifies an application.

Application Type

To create a new Unified Client for Konica Minolta application in DRS, choose Konica Minolta Unified Client for this option.

DWS Server Address

Enter the addresses of the primary DWS server used by the application.

DWS Server #2 Address

Enter the addresses of the second DWS server used by the application.

DWS Server #3 Address

Enter the addresses of the third DWS server used by the application.

DWS Server #4 Address

Enter the addresses of the fourth DWS server used by the application.

Server Configuration

Select the server configuration used with the application. The fields that appear depend on the server configuration you selected.

AutoStore Server Address

The IP address, computer name, or DNS name of an AutoStore server.

AutoStore Server Port

The port that the AutoStore server uses to communicate with clients if TLS is not used.

AutoStore Server TLS Port

The port that the AutoStore server uses to communicate with clients if TLS is not used.

Print Manager Server Address

The IP address of the Equitrac or Output Manager server.

Print Manager Server Port

The port that the Equitrac or Output Manager server uses to communicate with clients if TLS is not used.

This setting must match the port that is set for the Equitrac or Output Manager server. The default settings are the following for Equitrac and Output Manager:

  • Equitrac: 8443 for HTTPS (SSL)
  • Output Manager: 8068
Print Manager TLS Port

The port that the Equitrac or Output Manager server uses to communicate with clients if TLS is not used.

This setting must match the port that is set for the Equitrac or Output Manager server. The default settings are the following for Equitrac and Output Manager:

  • Equitrac: 8443 for HTTPS (SSL)
  • Output Manager: 8069
DRS Server Address

The IP address of the Device Registration Service.

DRS Server Port

The port that the Device Registration service uses to communicate with clients.

This setting must match the port that is set for the Device Registration Service. The default is 8753.

Active Print Manager

Specifies the print manager type. This should correspond to the server type specified by the Print Manager Server Address.

  • Equitrac
  • Output Manager
DCE Server Address

Enter the address of the primary DCE server that is used by Equitrac.

DCE Server #2 Address

Enter the address of the second DCE server that is used by Equitrac.

DCE Server #3 Address

Enter the address of the third DCE server that is used by Equitrac.

DCE Server #4 Address

Enter the address of the fourth DCE server that is used by Equitrac.

Authentication

Select True to use the Unified Client for Konica Minolta as the authentication application on the device or False to use another authentication application.

Note the following:

  • If you set Authentication to True, you can have Unified Client for Konica Minolta overwrite the existing authentication agent by setting Overwrite Existing Authentication Agent (if any) set to True.

  • If you set Authentication to False, you must have a third-party authentication agent available to authenticate the user.

  • If authentication is managed by CAC, Authentication must be set to False. The CAC user name must match the User principal name field for the user's Windows user account in Output Manager. Otherwise, single-sign-on will fail.

Overwrite Existing Authentication Agent (if any)

Appears if Authentication is set to True. Set Overwrite Existing Authentication Agent (if any) to True to overwrite the existing authentication agent, or False if you do not want to overwrite the authentication agent.

For the IP address, you can enter IPv4 or IPv6 addresses depending on the configuration of your system. If you enter an IPv6 address, brackets ([ ]) are automatically added to it if missing when you exit from the field.
