How to configure operating system commands in command line mode

  1. Log in to the SAP NetWeaver GUI for Microsoft Windows.
  2. Type SPAD in the transaction field and press Enter.
  3. On the Spool Administration screen, click Full administration.
  4. Click the Output management systems tab.
  5. Click Display next to Logical Output Management Systems.
  6. Select the row for the Logical Output Management System that you created in How to create the Logical Output Management System in command line mode and then press Shift+F1.
  7. Configure Output Management System commands as shown in the following example:

    The Path value in the example shows the path to the default Output Manager installation directory. If you installed Output Manager in a different location, update the path for your environment. Use double quotation marks to enclose folder names with spaces.

    Enter the following information:

    • Path: This is the shared path you created in step 1.

    • Submit: NWToOM.exe submit &EI &EG "&P" "&F" "&o" "&J" &C &Es &N &n

      Optionally add an 11th parameter to be used as a document title.

    • Polling: NWToOM.exe dpoll "&P" &EG

    • Queue query: NWToOM.exe dquery "&P" &Es

    • Job cancel: NWToOM.exe cancel &EL

    • Job query: NWToOM.exe jquery &EL

  8. Save the settings.
