From Capture to Print Management - Overview

Sending documents from the ControlSuite capture component (AutoStore) to the print queues of the ControlSuite print management components (Equitrac or Output Manager) is done through

the Print Job Submission eConnector - a Process component
the Print Job Submission Route component.

Both components use the Print Job Submission (PJS) service.

Print Job Submission eConnector

It is a Process component
It is available in the “Process” section of the Toolbox
It takes input and passes output to the next component in the workflow
It has “Activate” and “Pass Through” fields:
"Activate” is used to indicate if the component is active (i.e. it will submit the document to the Print Job Submission Queue)
“Pass Through” is used to pass the original document to subsequent components in the workflow

Print Job Submission Route Component

It is a Route component
It is available in the “Route” section of the Toolbox
It takes input and processes it
It is the last component in an AutoStore Task
It is also available in the “Multi Router” route component

It is not necessary to add any rules on the Equitrac side.
