Printer driver mapping

To map to the printer driver, do the following:

  1. In Web System Manager, go to System Configuration > Global Configuration Settings > Printing > Printer Driver Management > Default Mappings.
  2. Select a Printer manufacturer from the menu.
  3. Click Add new default to set a default printer driver for a specific printer model.
  4. In the Set Default Printer Driver window, select the following from the associated drop-down lists:
    1. Model name: The list is populated with all available MFPs for the selected manufacturer.
    2. Environment: 64-bit or 32-bit.
    3. OS version: More than one OS can be selected.
    4. Package name: This is the printer driver package containing the driver INF file.
    5. Driver name: This is the name of the driver from the INF file associated with the MFP model. The INF file can contain multiple driver names.
    6. Click Save to set the default.
