User Stamping

The following input file types are supported: PDF, PCL5, PCL6, PS and XPS. The workflow fails if an unsupported file type is used as the input file. If the input file has different format, use the Basic Transformation before adding a user stamp to convert the input file to a supported format.

RRTs can be used in all fields of this tab.

Option Description
Name Custom name of the stamp
Description Custom description of the stamp
Stamp Text Enter the text to be stamped. Alphabetical, accented, currency and special characters accepted. Invalid characters replaced by _.
Font Type

This list contains local Windows font library and both enabled and disabled font types are listed.

  • Custom added and installed fonts may appear and selectable on list but those are not supported.
  • If a disabled type is selected, the stamping uses Arial font type.
  • If a disabled RRT value is used, the stamping uses Arial font type.
The default value is Arial.

Font Size If an invalid RRT or value, for example text or negative number is used the stamp text size will be the default 16.
Font Color The following color string is used: <Transparency (0-255)>,<Red value (0-255)>,<Green value (0-255)>,<Blue value (0-255)>. For example
  • Red is 255,255,0,0
  • Green is 255,0,255,0
  • Blue is 255,0,0,255
  • Yellow is 255,255,255,0
  • Orange is 255,255,128,0
  • Black is 255,0,0,0
  • White is 255,255,255,255

Use the (...) button to select a custom color from the palette.

Color specified with Color Name (Yellow) or with Hexa code (#FFFFFF) are invalid. If invalid font color is specified, the default value, Black is used.

Location Use this list to select the location of the stamp. If an invalid RRT value is used, the stamp is placed to the default location, Top Right.
Page Edge Offset This value determines the gap between the page edge and the stamp in millimeter.
Include Timestamp Check this box to include the current date and time in the stamp. Custom date and time is not supported.
