Route the print job

Configuring Multi Router to send on the print job discussed in the print job submission integration example.

Do the following steps after you have created a new workflow in the Workflow Definition window and completed the configuration in the Print Job Submission eConnector window.

This is the Print Job Submission configuration step in the AutoStore integration example presenting routing via the Multi Router component.

  1. Go to the Workflow Definition window and select the Components tab.
  2. Click the button next to Multi Router.
  3. In the Multi Router window scroll down to Send to Folder and click the small gray square in the “C” column to the right of Send to Folder.
  4. In the Send to Folder window, click Add.
  5. In the Configurations window go to the General tab.
  6. Click the ... button in the Folder path field.
  7. In the Browse For Folder window browse to your C:\ drive and click the Make new folder button.
  8. Name the new folder "Output" and click OK to close the Browse For Folder window.
    The Folder path field now contains "C:\Output" - Multi Router will route documents to this folder.
  9. In the Configurations window select the checkbox Rename file.
  10. Arrange windows on your screen so that you can see the Configurations as well as the Available RRTs window.
  11. In the Available RRTs window, go to the Send to Folder section. CTRL+select the following RRTs: File Name, File Counter, and File Extension.
  12. Drag and drop the selected RRTs into the Schema field in the Configurations window.
  13. Click OK to close the Configurations window.
  14. Click OK to close the Send to Folder window.
  15. Click OK to close the Multi Router window.
  16. Click OK to close the Workflow Definition window.
  17. Click OK to close the Workflow Job Submission Capture window.
  18. Go to the AutoStore Process Designer window toolbar, click Save and enter a unique filename for this workflow. Click Save.
