Configure a VPSX device

Use the Web System Manager > Devices link to add a VPSX device to a physical device in Equitrac.

  1. Select a physical device, then select Add External Print Queue from the Select Action drop-down list.
  2. Enter a Name for the VPSX device.
  3. The Server defaults to the current DCE host. You can select a different server from the drop-down list.
  4. Select VPSX from the Type drop-down list.
  5. Enter the Destination printer URI. This information is provided by LRS, indicating the server name, port, and location on the server.
  6. Click Add to open the Add URI dialog box.
  7. Enter the URI to identify the location of the PersonalQ URI where jobs are held in VPSX. This information is provided by LRS. Optionally, you can click Add again if you want to access more than one PersonalQ.
  8. Click Save to save the VPSX configuration.
Although multiple PersonalQs can be created, only one external print queue can be assigned per Equitrac device.
