Error messages

Message Description
500: Unknown error. Please check Logs folder for details. You receive this message when you run one of the following actions in DRS while the Lexmark device is powered off or the network cable is disconnected from the Lexmark device:
  • Install and Configure
  • Uninstall
  • Update Configuration
You might also receive this message when an unknown error occurs. Verify the logs for more details.
500: Exception during processing request. Please refer to the log for further information.

This error occurs when the Unified Client for Lexmark is processing a request from the screen but DRS or the administrator stops the request.

Press the device Home button to close the message and return to the device home screen.

503: Device is not reachable. You receive this message when you run one of the following actions in DRS with an invalid IP address or host name:
  • Install and Configure
  • Uninstall
  • Update Configuration
603: Request unauthorized. You receive this message when you run one of the following actions in DRS with an invalid administrator user name or password, or the default browser login on the device is not Username/Password.

  • Install and Configure
  • Uninstall
  • Update Configuration

608: Application is not already installed. You receive this message when you run one of the following actions in DRS on a Lexmark Unified Client application but the Lexmark Unified Client is not installed on the device:
  • Uninstall
  • Updated Configuration
