Problem Solution

Install and Register Action fails. This occurs after the Application setting is changed in the Device settings and returns a DWS Installation failed or and Internal device error message.

Run the Uninstall and Deregister Action on a Device before changing the Application setting.

Shortcuts to native device functions are not available.

For shortcuts to native device functions to show in the Equitrac UI workflow, the Epson Open Platform (EOP) version must be manually set to version 1.1.

Go to the device Web Administrator page > Epson Open Platform > Product key, and set the Epson Open Platform version list to 1.1.

The Communication error. Check the WI-FI/network connection appears when the device starts scanning.

Make sure that Scan Destination (DWS shared folder) is defined in DRS under Devices > Details.
