Release Key

Release Key which is triggered after login if configured allows immediate release of the print jobs associated with the key.

To use Release Key, follow steps below:

  1. Log in to the Equitrac Web Client.
  2. Navigate to Configuration > Session Flow > Other Prompts, select Prompt for release key.
  3. When prompted at the device, you are expected to enter an alphanumeric release key right after login:

    A Release Key is a case-sensitive identifier using up to 14 characters.
  4. Print jobs that match the release key are released.

In case Escrow is enabled, after you select job(s) to print, if there is insufficient fund in the account, a message is displayed indicating the cost needed and the available amount left. In case of multiple jobs selected, the message is displayed for the first account that fails. If color quota is enabled and your color quota is insufficient, the job is not released.
