Logging on

Log onto the Unified Client for Konica Minolta using any of the authentication methods configured for it. (See Authentication configuration for more information.) Once you are authenticated on the device, all features you have access to are unlocked.

Follow the instructions on the device's front panel to swipe your card, enter the PIN, or enter your user name and password.

Note the following:

  • If you do not have credentials, or your credentials fail, you may log on as a guest if you are using Equitrac and that functionality is enabled. When you press the button for guest access, the logon prompts do not appear.

  • The Access button is supported to enable device administrators to bypass logon screens. See the Konica Minolta documentation for more information.

Depending on your configuration, the following occurs after logging on:

  • If the credentials provided by the Unified Client for Konica Minolta or CAC are valid for AutoStore, you are not prompted for identification. If the AutoStore credentials were not provided, you are prompted to enter the AutoStore credentials when you use a AutoStore workflow.

  • If the print management system is configured to release all jobs or the first queued job after logging on, the jobs are printed automatically after you log on. No prompt for a billing code or release key appears.

  • If you are using a campus card configured for multiple accounts, you are prompted to select the account you want to use for this job. If the card is configured for a single account or does not support the Prompt for Account feature, no prompt appears.
