Set up the I-Queue printer share

Users can print from their workstation using the I-Queue printer that is shared on a DRE Print Server.

To share the DRE I-Queue printer on the DRE Print Server, do the following:

  1. Create a DRE printer, and enable secure printing on the queue.
  2. Add an embedded device to the DRE printer and verify that you can print and track through that printer.
  3. On the DRE print server, open the Properties for the I-Queue printer, click the Sharing tab, and select the Share this printer checkbox.
  4. Add the I-Queue printer share to the user workstation.
  5. Print a test page from the workstation to the shared I-Queue printer and release the job from any DRE printer to confirm that the test page printed successfully.
