Deployment steps

  1. Prepare for deployment:
    1. Verify that your device is supported.
    2. Verify prerequisites.
    3. Get the latest installer packages (AutoStore 7.0 SP5 or later, Output Manager 4.0 SP2 or later, DRS 7.13, and the Unified Client for Ricoh Smart Operation Panel client package).
  2. Install the AutoStore server.
  3. Install Output Manager.
  4. Install and set up Device Registration Service (DRS):
    1. Upload the Unified Client for Ricoh Smart Operation Panel client package into DRS.
    2. Create and add application in DRS.
    3. Add and configure the MFP device.
    4. Install the Ricoh device using DRS in AutoStore and Output Manager.
  5. Execute final actions:
    1. Select and run action.
  6. Create your first AutoStore workflow and verify installation:
    1. License AutoStore.
    2. Configure Send to Folder workflow.
    3. Verify installation.
  7. Create your first Output Manager workflow and verify installation:
    1. Set up a source.
    2. Set up a destination.
    3. Route a document to a destination.
    4. Verify installation.

Ricoh SOP firmware Ricoh M2a_System firmware 1.19 or later.
IM series devices may require M2a_System firmware 1.06.1 or later.
