Obtain Debug Logs

If the EQXLPD service fails to start, the case name may be incorrect, or the user is not mapped to the correct Equitrac account. You can check the debug log to determine the source of the problem.

To produce a debug log, do the following:

  1. Select Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
  2. Right-click the EQXLPD Service in the right pane and select Properties from the menu.
  3. On the General tab, enter /Debug in the Start parameters field.
  4. Restart the service, and click OK to save the changes.
The resulting file is named eqxlpd.dbg and is located in the temporary directory of the account running the service. To end the log, you need to Stop the service. You can examine the file to determine if the mapping is performed correctly without waiting for the entire process to finish. Remove /Debug from the Start parameters when you no longer need to generate a debug log.
