LPD Settings tab (Source Bulk Configuration)

Use this tab to simultaneously create multiple LPD sources.

Documents received by these sources will be routed to Output Manager.

Click directly in the grid to configure the source.

  • Name column — Specifies the name of the LPD source.

  • Port column — Specifies the host's port number. The default value is 515.

  • IP Address column — Specifies the host’s IP address. Click the browse (...) button to select one of the available connections, or enter the IP address directly in the box.

    IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are supported.

  • Default Queue column — Specifies the default queue which will process all requests made to unrecognized queues. All defined LPD queues are listed.

  • Temp Folder column — Specifies the location files are transferred into during the LPD session. When the session is complete they are put in the file store.

  • LPD Queue column — Click the browse button (...) to add LPD queues using the Manage LPD Queue Subdevice tab pages. You will need to configure the options on the LPD queue settings tab.

  • Capabilities profile — Select the capabilities profile to be used when this source is used by a printer based on our UPSD.
