How to Use Office to PDF Converter

You can convert a variety of complex MS Office documents to PDF, that arrive at the capture interface, and route the converted PDFs into a specified network path.

  1. Design a workflow process by selecting a capture component to capture an office document.
  2. Use the Office to PDF Converter component as a process component and the Send to Folder component as the route component.
  3. Activate the Office to PDF Converter component.
  4. In the General tab, configure the settings for page selection, quality of embedded images and other options to be applied to the resulting PDF.
  5. In the Extension tab, configure the acceptable extensions for conversion. The extensions are grouped by type.
  6. In the Settings tab, configure the process settings such as port, working directory for routing resulting PDFs and the LibreOffice® settings.
