Upgrade legacy version

This section describes how to upgrade from legacy versions to CotrolSuite.

  • A direct upgrade from legacy versions of the products is not supported. The previous version must be uninstalled before performing an upgrade to ControlSuite.
  • Upgrades from Equitrac Office/Express require that the prior Equitrac CAS database be at Equitrac version 5.6 or 5.7. Versions prior to 5.6 or 5.7 need to be upgraded to one of those versions before they can be upgraded to ControlSuite. For more information see Upgrade Equitrac.
  • Upgrades from Output Manager require that the prior OMDB database be at Output Manager 4.0.x. Versions prior to that need to be upgraded to one of those versions first. See Upgrade an Output Manager database on a remote SQL instance.
  • Before upgrading, ensure that you have a backup of your Equitrac CAS, OMDB, AutoStore configuration, and your DRS database. If the server is a VM, take a snapshot image of the VM.
  • Take screenshots of the Output Manager Server Configuration Utility with the settings for Output Manager so when going through the configuration assistant after the upgrade, you are aware of what the previous settings were.
  • Check the AutoStore Sunset pack to validate if any of the connectors being used in your config was removed/moved to the sunset pack.
