Print with Business Connect

If you have installed Kofax Business Connect on your smartphone or tablet, you can use it for authentication with the Unified Client for HP, print documents, and perform business processes. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

The device must be configured to work with Business Connect by setting up Business Connect Server. For more information, refer to the Business Connect section of the ControlSuite web help.

Open the Business Connect app on your mobile device and follow these steps.

  1. On the Business Connect Home screen, tap My files.
  2. Select the files you want to print.
  3. Tap the Print button.

    The following message appears, File successfully sent to print queue. Click OK.

  4. Go to the device and do either of the following:
    • If the mobile device supports NFC, tap Tap Card Reader. Move the smartphone or tablet close to the card reader. When you hear a beep, the connection is successful.

    • If the device has a QR code, tap Find with QR-Code. Business Connect opens the camera. Use the camera to scan the QR code.

    The print queue appears on the smartphone or tablet. The front panel on the device says Please follow the prompts on your mobile device.

  5. Return to the Business Connect Home screen and tap Authenticate.
  6. At the HP device, tap your smartphone or tablet to the Kofax Micro Card Reader to log in.
  7. On the Follow-You-Printing screen, select the documents in the queue that you want to print. Tap the Print button.
