Enable SSL for remote UI

During the setup phase, it is recommended to visit the device portal page and set it up for using HTTPS connection instead of the default HTTP.

Complete the following task to configure a Canon device to use SSL for the remote UI.

  1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the Canon device to open the web interface.
  2. Navigate to Settings/Registration > Management Settings > License/Other > Remote UI Settings.
  3. Select Use SSL.
  4. Reboot the device.
