Add a Refresh Page Rendition action

Use the Refresh Page Rendition action to refresh page renditions on a form and accordingly enable or disable rendition buttons at runtime.

  • If you delete the rendition image that is currently displayed, the source image is displayed.

  • If the rendition image already exists as the currently displayed image, the image is refreshed.

  1. On the Form Modeling bar, click Actions.
  2. On the Actions page, click Add Generic Add.
  3. On the Type list, select Refresh Page Rendition.
  4. Enter a Name and Description for the action.
  5. Optionally, configure a unique action for each language separately. See Configure multilingual actions for a form or control for more information.
  6. In the Selected Capture Control box, consume the capture control as needed.
  7. Map the following parameters in the Attributes table either by consuming the values or providing static values:
    1. Rendition Name: Map the rendition.
    2. Document ID: Map the document for which to refresh the rendition data.
    3. Page ID: Map the page within the document for which to refresh the rendition data. If this property is not defined (mapped), rendition data for all pages in the document is refreshed.
  8. Click OK.

The newly created action is added to the table.

  9. Click Save.
  10. Associate the action with the capture control that will trigger this action. Alternatively, if you wish to call the refresh page rendition on load of a form then associate the action with the form. See Associate an action with a form or control.
