Configure a target page

You can embed an internal site form or an external web page, or specify a web page to load dynamically at runtime.

Embed an internal page

  1. On the Extended Properties page of the Embedded Page control, click Form for Target Page.
  2. Consume the required form.
  3. Map the initialization variable to the relevant form field or variable (form or global).

Embed an external page

By default, www.kofax.com is selected as an external web page. To specify a different external web page:
  1. On the Extended Properties page of the Embedded Page control, click URL for Target Page.
  2. Delete the existing URL and enter the required URL.
  3. Define initialization variables.
    1. Enter a variable name.
    2. Specify a value, either dynamic or static.
    3. Click Add.
  4. Map a form field or variable (form or global) to the relevant initialization variable.

Dynamically load the page

  1. On the Extended Properties page of the Embedded Page control, click Dynamic for Target Page and specify a form field or a variable (global or form) to hold the URL.
  2. Define initialization variables.
    1. Enter a variable name.
    2. Specify a value, either dynamic or static.
    3. Click Add.
  3. Map a form field or variable (form or global) to the relevant initialization variable.
    The URL is specified at runtime when it is read from a field on a form or a global variable.
    Note For an external or dynamic web page, the dynamic values (form fields), such as Calendar, Text box are only available if already created on the same form.

Embed an insight view within a form

  1. On the Extended Properties page of the Embedded Page control, click Insight for Target Page.
  2. Consume the Insight view or chart in the box provided.
