Configure the Exchange Server Get Attachments activity

  1. Add an Exchange Server Get Attachments activity to the map. See Add an activity.
  2. On the Extended Properties page of the Exchange Server Get Attachments activity, click the Configuration tab.
  3. To select a site from which to retrieve attachments, consume the site in the Exchange Site box.
  4. To provide the unique ID for the email from which to retrieve attachments, use either of the following methods:

    • To provide a dynamic value, consume the process or server variable in the Email Item ID box.

    • To enter a static value, click Static Save and enter a value in the Email Item ID box.

      Note To populate a variable with the unique ID of an email, configure the Create New Job, Create New Case, or Create Job in Case TotalAgility action on the New Mail event. See Configure and execute TotalAgility actions resulting from Microsoft Exchange events.

  5. To enter the location from which to retrieve the attachments, use either of the following methods:

    • To provide a dynamic value, consume the process or server variable in the Target Location box.

    • To provide a static value, click Static Save and enter the value in the Target Location box.

  6. To automatically retrieve the location of all the attachments to a Complex or Dynamic Complex variable, consume the Complex or Dynamic Complex variable in the Output Path box.
  7. Click Save.
