Create a predictive model

See Predictive models.

  1. On the Extended Properties page of a process, click the Predictive Model tab.
  2. Set up the variables and weighting.
    1. Consume a Variable.
    2. Select the Operator.
    3. Enter a Value for the variable.
    4. Enter a fixed value or use a variable for the Weight of the variable.
  3. Alternatively, to add weighting for variables with a range of values:
    1. Consume a Variable.
    2. Select Range on the Operator list.
    3. Enter the range, for example, age greater than 25 and less than equal to 30.
    4. Enter a Weight for this value.
    5. Click Add Add.
  4. Add other variables, values and weights as needed.
  5. In the Score box, define the rule to use for scoring, such as Score = Gender + (Age * 2) + Location.
  6. Release the map.
    Note If you document a process that has a predictive model, the weighting and score calculation for the process are included in the documentation.

    If you export or import a process that has a predictive model, the weighting and score calculation for the process are included in the exported or imported process.
