Configure a Resource Info activity

Specify a process (or case variable for a case map) or server variable to hold a resource identifier. Then map resource attributes to the process (or case variable for a case map) or server variables to retrieve resource attributes at runtime.

  1. Add a Resource Info activity to the map. See Add an activity.
  2. On the Extended Properties page of the Resource Info activity, click the Configuration tab.
  3. To obtain the resource information using an identifier, do one of the following for Identifier Type:

    • Select Internal ID and consume the variable containing the resource ID in the Resource Identifier box.

    • Select Email Address and consume the variable containing the email address in the Resource Identifier box.

    • Select Username and consume the variable containing the username in the Resource Identifier box.

  4. To obtain the role information, do the following:

    1. Select Name for Identifier Type.

    2. Consume the variable containing the role name in the Resource Identifier box.

    3. Consume the variable containing the process ID of the role in the Process ID box.

  5. To map variables to the resource attribute, consume the variable in the Mapping box.
  6. Click Save.
