Use entities in a map

To use entities in processes, you must do the following.

  1. Set entities as entity variables.
  2. Use entities as:

    • Initialization variables in a map

    • Input/output variables for all manual activities

    • Parameters while configuring the .NET activity

The .NET activity is the only automatic activity in which you can use entities.

Use individual entity attributes and an entity-within-an-entity as:

  • A variable while configuring the following activities:

    • Email

    • Document Creation

    • Web Service

    • Business Rule

    • Data Access

    • SharePoint Add Item

    • SharePoint Get Document

    • SharePoint Delete Item

    • SharePoint Create Site

    • SharePoint Create Folder

    • SharePoint Uploader

  • Initialization variables in a map

  • Input/output variables for all manual activities

  • A variable in a decision

  • Parameters while configuring the .NET activity
