  3. On the Type list, select an action, such as .Net Method.
  4. Enter a Name and Description for the action.
  5. Optionally, configure a unique action for each language separately. See Configure multilingual actions for a form or control for more information.
  6. Configure other properties, as needed.
  7. Click OK.

The newly created action is added to the table.

  8. Once an action is created, you can do the following:
    • If the list of actions is large:
      • Scroll down the list to see all actions.
      • Filter the list by capture or non-capture actions, or individual action type. For example, to filter the list to only display the Same Page actions, on the Type Filter list, select Same Page (default: All).
      • Sort the list by Name or by Type. For example, to sort the actions by name, click Name on the actions header.
    • Modify an action.

    • Create a copy of the action.

    • Delete an action.

    • Associate the action with the control that will trigger this action. Alternatively if you wish to call the action on load of a form, associate the action with the form. See Associate an action with a form or control.
