Create a persona

Define persona and associate it with a landing page. If a persona is associated with a resource, the corresponding landing page opens when the resource logs in to the system.

  1. On the Home page, click Resources > Personas.
    Note You must have appropriate permissions to create personas. See Access Permissions.
  2. Consume a Category where you want to include the persona (Default: User's working category).
  3. Enter a Name for the persona. The name must be unique across all categories.
  4. Enter a Description for the persona.
  5. Select either option for the Type of landing page:
    • Form: Consume a form in the Landing Page box. If the form has initialization parameters, they are displayed in the Initialization Variable list. Consume a variable or provide static values for the parameters.

    • URL: Enter the URL in the Landing Page box and define the initialization variables:

      1. In the Variable Name box, enter the variable name.

      2. In the Value box, provide a static value.

      3. Click Add .

      4. Add more variables as needed.

  6. Click Add .
    The persona is created.

Maintain personas

You can update or delete a persona.

  1. On the Home page, click Resources > Personas.
  2. To update an existing persona:
    1. On the list of personas, click the persona to edit.
    2. Make changes as needed.
    3. Click Update .
  3. To delete a persona:
    1. Click the persona to delete and click Delete .
      A warning appears to inform you that unexpected behavior can occur if the persona is in use.
    2. Click Yes to confirm deletion.
