Create a group resource

  1. On the Home page, click Resources > Group.
    Note By default, TotalAgility provides the following groups: Everyone, Administrators, Designers and Device Users.
  2. Select a Category in which the group needs to be added by consuming a category.
    By default, a new resource is assigned to your working category.
  3. Enter a Name for the group, for example, Approving Officers.
  4. Enter the Email address for the group.
  5. Modify the default Security Level of the resource group. For more information on security level, see Set the security level of a resource.
  6. Optionally, in the Work Allocation Rule box, consume a work allocation rule (see Glossary for more information) to directly assign to a group resource so that work can be streamlined based on the order defined in the rule.
    Note This option is not available for external resources.
  7. To enable the skill levels of a resource group, select the skill levels. For more information on skill level, see Set the skill level of a resource.
  8. Assign Members to the group by consuming resources.
