Assign access permissions to different areas of TotalAgility

In TotalAgility, you can manage access permissions to grant privileges, and restrict resource access to the following areas:

  • Process

  • Business Rule

  • Resource

  • Settings

  • Work Type

  • Lock Status Search

  • Job Clear Down

  • Persona

There are three types of access permissions:

  • Full Control: Enables the resource to create and modify content. For example, a resource with full control of process maps can create and modify all process maps and can set and modify access permissions for other resources.

  • Read Write: Enables the resource to create and modify content, but not change access permissions.

  • Read: Restricts the resource to read-only access to the domain.

For example, you may have a group of Business Analysts within your company who are responsible for creating business processes. You could assign this group full control for the Process area. This would mean that only the members of the Business Analyst group could create and modify processes. They would also be able to set the access permissions of all the other resources within the organization for the Process area of TotalAgility.

Note By default, the Admin user group is assigned full control access to all domains. If the user is not a part of Admin user group, you should explicitly assign access permissions to the user.
