Create a process template

  1. Open the relevant process.
  2. On the Properties bar, click Settings Extended Properties.

    The Extended Properties page appears.

  3. On the General tab, click Yes for Support Skins.
  4. Create the process variables to create skin rules. See Create process variables. To specify values for rule variables while creating a job on the template, configure the rule variables as initialization variables.
  5. Click Release Save and Release.
    Note If you create a case fragment from a case that supports skins and if the case has the variables already defined, then you need not create variables for the case fragment process. However, if you create a case fragment from a case that does not support skins, and declare the case fragment as a process template, you must create variables for the template. Otherwise you cannot release the process.
