Configure a Create Job In Case action

Configure a Create Job in Case action for an event against an entity instance in the Dynamics AX System. For example, set up the Create Job in Case TotalAgility action for the Create event in the Dynamics AX System.

  1. On the AX System Configuration page, select the service, and click Configure Events.

    The Events page appears.

  2. Click Add Add.

    The Dynamics AX Event Configuration page appears.

  3. Select the Event, such as Update, for which to configure the TotalAgility action.
  4. On the Action list, select Create Job In Case.
  5. In the Process box, consume the process map on which to create a job in case.
    Note If the map used to create a new job has any initialization parameters, the parameters appear under Initialization Variables.
  6. Do either of the following:
    1. Click Case Reference, and enter a dynamic or static value.
    2. Click Case ID and enter a dynamic or static value.
  7. To specify the attributes that, when created, trigger a TotalAgility action, consume the attributes to the Mapping box of the initialization variables.
  8. Click OK.

    When the entity instance is updated in the Dynamics AX System, a job is created on the selected process map at runtime.

    You can also set up a Create Job in Case TotalAgility action for the Create and Delete events.
