Create a business alert
A business alert is an automatic action that occurs when a target threshold is met. The alerts are business processes that can be as simple as an email interaction, or as complex as a change to operational parameters.
- On the Home page, click .
- To select a category for the new business alert, in the Category box, consume the category to use.
- Enter a Name and Description for the alert.

To specify a process on which to create a job when the sum/count
of the event reaches the specified value, do one of the following for
Create Job:

Select None to prevent job creation.

Select Existing and consume a process.

Select New and enter a name for the new process.
When the specified conditions are met, a job is created.

In the
Monitor Event group, do
the following:
- Consume an Event to monitor.
- Select the Interval within which to monitor event from the following options; Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly.
- Select the monitor Criteria either as Sum (count of the event) or Occurrences of the event which reaches the specified value.
- If you select Sum, select the Field Name to monitor event against the Alert Value.
Operator to define the alert value.Use -
Select the fields to use as filters. Use the operator to define
the
Filter Value.
The filter option lets you create multiple alerts based on one event and filter the alerts by different criteria.
- Click Save.
