Configure a Raise Event action

Configure a Raise Event against a Job TotalAgility action for an event against an entity instance in the Dynamics AX System. For example, set up the Raise Event against a Job action for the Update event in the Dynamics AX System.

  1. On the AX System Configuration page, select the service, and click Configure Events.

    The Events page appears.

  2. Click Add Add.

    The Dynamics AX Event Configuration page appears.

  3. Select the Event, such as Update, for which to configure the TotalAgility action.
  4. On the Action list, select Raise Event.
  5. To raise an event at runtime, do the following:
    1. Enter a static value or consume the Job ID.
    2. Enter a static value or consume the Event.
    3. Enter a static value or consume the Source.
  6. Click OK.

    When the entity instance is updated in Dynamics AX, TotalAgility raises an event against a job.

    Similarly, you can set up a Raise Event action for the Create and Delete events.
