Configure a change state action

Configure a Change State TotalAgility action for an event in the Dynamics CRM System. For example, set up the Change State TotalAgility action for the Update event in the Dynamics CRM System. Similarly, you can set up actions for Create and Delete events.

  1. On the Dynamic CRM System Configuration page, select the CRM System for which to configure events.

    The CRM System Configuration page appears.

  2. Click Add Add for CRM Systems.

    The Dynamics CRM Event Configuration page appears.

  3. Select the Business Units.
  4. Select the Entities.

    All the attributes for the selected entity appears.

  5. Select the Event for which to configure the TotalAgility action, for example Update.
  6. On the Action list, select Change State.
  7. To display the state of a job at runtime, do the following:
    1. Enter a static value or consume the Job ID.
    2. Enter a static value or consume the State.
    3. Consume the attribute to the Job ID field or consume the attribute to the State field.
  8. Click OK.

    When the entity instance is updated in the Dynamics CRM System, a changed state action is created against a job at runtime.
