Associate a business event with an activity

  1. On the Extended Properties page of the activity, click the Business Events tab.
  2. Click Add .

    The Event page appears.

  3. Consume the event in the Event box.

    Fields for the selected event appear.

  4. To use a state event identifier, click Yes for State Event and consume the variable for the state event identifier.
    Note A state identifier holds the ID of the task while it changes from one state to the next, reporting only on the most recent state. However, all triggered events are registered in the database.
  5. Map the relevant process or server variable to each of the fields.
  6. Click Save.
