Import business events

You can import business events between different installations of Kofax TotalAgility. For example, you may need to import events from a development server onto a production server.

Note You can import a single event or multiple events. All events are imported in XML format. To import multiple events at once, select the zipped file that has the required events.
  1. On the Home page, click Business Monitoring > Import Events.
  2. To overwrite existing events, select Yes for Overwrite Existing Events.
  3. On the Import Events page, click Browse and select single or multiple business events, as required.
    Note You can only import single events as XML files, and multiple events as ZIP files. To import a single event from a zipped file, extract the zipped file and then import the required event as an XML file.
  4. Click Open to import the business events.

    Note the following:

    • If the business event does not exist, Kofax TotalAgility creates it.

    • If a business event with the same name exists, TotalAgility does not overwrite the existing business event. If you select Yes for Overwrite Existing Events, TotalAgility overwrites the existing event.

  5. Click OK.

    A message indicates whether the import succeeded.

  6. Click OK.
